How much does a franchise cost?
The estimated initial investment, ranges from $17,900 to $145,000.
How much is the fee for continuing support services?
The continuing services or "royalty fee," is 10% of your monthly gross sales. This fee entitles you to use the "JitterSwing
Dance Clubs" service mark, use our distinctive system, marketing assistance, ongoing business development and
counseling, and other benefits that come with being a JitterSwing Dance Club franchisee.
Will I have an exclusive territory?
We will grant you a territory (called an "area of primary responsibility" or "area") that will be delineated by a zip code(s) or
other physical, or natural boundaries. No other JitterSwing franchisee can teach dance or hold dances in your area and you
can not teach dance or hold dances in any area other than your own.
What about advertising?
The JitterSwing name and reputation is an important part of our business. You will spend a minimum of $4,500 on
grand-opening advertising during the first three months of operations. You will also spend at least 5% of your gross sales
per month on local advertising. In addition, you are required to make Marketing Fund contributions of up to 5% of your
monthly gross sales for regional and national advertising.
How much training is provided?
The initial training covers all material aspects of the operation of a JitterSwing Dance Club franchise and is comprised of
classroom and dance lessons. The initial training is 4 days (Tuesday through Friday). Additional training requires you to
attend our National or Regional "up-date" training at least 3 days a year. After you return home from the initial training and as
you start to open your JitterSwing Dance Club, we will help, advise, and instruct you, every step of the way.
Where can I hold my dances and give dance lessons?
Choose one or more of these three category's:
1. Public (Lounges, Restaurants, Sports Bars, Etc.)
2. Private (VFW, American Legion, Church Halls or Gyms, Community Centers, Banquet Halls, Rental Halls, Etc.)
3. Retail (Rent, lease, or build, a retail business space.)
Is it possible to own more than (1) franchise?
Yes. You can own several franchise's in one regional area, or you can own several franchise's in different areas.
Is there a requirement as to how many dances I must hold each week?
Yes. You must hold a minimum of at least (1) dance per week. You decide how many evenings per week you want to work.
